British Actress SIENNA MILLER has told the press that she’s feeling a bit angsty about her breakup with “funnyman” RHYS IFANS. She said: “It’s everywhere. I try not to read it, but it’s hard not to. I don’t want to go, ‘Woe is me in suffering’, but it’s not easy for me.”
So, okay, we do feel for her. But only a little. After all, according to her website sienna-miller.org: “Actress Sienna Miller has confirmed she will play the role of Maid Marian in a film remake of Robin Hood. The 26-year-old will star alongside RUSSELL CROWE, who is expected to play the Sheriff of Nottingham. Oscar-winning writer Brian Helgeland and director Sir Ridley Scott have also signed up for the project.” It’s hard to feel sorry for Maid Marian. Seriously.
However I do hope that she has learned a lesson that most of us already knew instinctively: Never take up with someone whose job is “funnyman”. Take our word for it.

CHRIS MARTIN of the band COLDPLAY admits that the fact that his wife GWYNETH PALTROW at one time was engaged to BRAD PITT leaves him feeling jealous, even though he now has two children with her, and Brad seems smitten with the mother of his kids, ANGELINA JOLIE.
He said his jealousy drove him to succeed. “If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you’d want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?”
New Coldplay album Viva La Vida is expected to be the biggest seller of the year after its release yesterday.

The on-screen lesbian kiss between PENELOPE CRUZ and SCARLETT JOHANSSON set the Cannes Film Festival buzzing last night and some say all the attention will revive the career of filmmaker Woody Allen.
The movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, was received with enthusiastic applause, making it Allen’s first well-received project in some time.
About the kiss, one critic at the late-night showing remarked: “It woke up all the dopey critics and practically got a standing ovation.”

LINDSAY LOHAN is being sued by Masha Markova over claims the actress took her fur coat ‘without permission’. A polite way of saying “the bitch stole it”.
Masha, a 22 year old student, says she sat next to Lindsay in a club, but when decided to leave, her coat had disappeared.
Then two weeks later she saw a photo of Lindsay in a magazine… leaving the club that night – wearing Masha’s mink.
‘It was my coat. It was no doubt,’ she told the New York Post.
The coat was returned to Masha, after which she announced that she expected around $10,000 as a ‘rental fee’. She has now asked Manhattan’s State Supreme Court to award her unspecified damages, reports E! Online.
It’ll be interesting to see how Lohan talks her way out of this one. No doubt she will. Talk.. and perhaps a check as a “shut up” payment.

JACK BLACK told the world that his co-star of Jung Fu Panda, ANGELINA JOLIE is pregnant with twins by making a crack about how she and husband BRAD PITT would have as many as the Brady Bunch with this next birth.
BLACK and JOLIE are in Cannes, France, promoting the animated film.
She’s reported as saying that unlike most women, she truly enjoys being pregnant.
Well that’s obvious!

CAMERON DIAZ told People that she would not have any more plastic surgery. She had some minor work done on her nose after a surfing accident in 2005. But she says ‘I’d never do anything else. I think beauty comes from the inside.’
‘I feel I get better with age,’ she says. ‘I look at pictures of myself when I was 21 and think “Wow, I didn’t look so bad.”
‘But I take more care of myself now, so in a way I feel I look better than I did then…I feel stronger and more confident.’

According to E! News Online, PAMELA ANDERSON walked off the set of her new film Superhero Movie. Apparantly because of a scene she had to film with a dog. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) doesn’t support using real animals in films, and therefore Pamela follows their rules. The director got around the problem by splicing two different shots together to make it look like the dog was in the scene with her.
What Pamela, with all this thinking she was doing, didn’t consider, was the bestiality overtones of the scene.
According to E! Anderson’s character make a joke…
“that suggests her (invisible dog) has been sexually satisfying the superhero professor (Tracy Morgan) she had been sleeping with.
“The scene ended up on the cutting room floor because the Motion Picture Association of America’s Ratings Board disapproved of the bestiality crack.”
So, Pamela didn’t approve of the dog running up and her petting it in a scene, but it’s okay to make jokes about sexually abusing animals? Umm.. yeah, Pamela. Maybe run that one by PETA, and leave the thinking to people who do it on a regular basis.

E! News Online has reported that LINDSAY LOHAN has landed the role of Nancy Pitman, once a loyal member of Charles Manson’s not-so-merry band, in the movie Manson Girls. They’ve said: “A source familiar with the deal says that despite the fact that Lohan has had some recent brushes with the law and just completed rehab, ‘the production company is insuring her for the film.’”
Her other projects include recording a new album and costarring in an upcoming JACK BLACK movie, Ye Olde Times.

The 16 year old JAMIE LYNN SPEARS, baby sister of pop princess BRITNEY SPEARS, has been spotted showing off a new bit of bling… an engagement ring.
According to People Magazine, the teen mom-to-be has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi. No word when she’s going to marry CASEY ALDRIDGE, the father of her baby. Graduated from high school in 2007, he’s a couple of years older than his fiancée. Although some have speculated that he liked dating JAMIE LYNN because of her fame, others say he’ll be a very good father.
Let’s just hope he has some inkling of what being a Mr Spears would mean, and that bringing up Baby Spears is going to be anything but ordinary.

PAMELA ANDERSON is now single. And rather than having filed for divorce, she and husband RICK SALOMON (best known for making a sex video with then-girlfriend Paris Hilton and previously married to actress SHANNEN DOHERTY) have gone down the annulment route. is making the same allegation. Married for only two months, both partners ticked the box marked “fraud” as the reason for the annulment request, according to documents filed in Superior Court.
Neither has commented on why or what led to the accusations.
The couple were wed last October in Las Vegas during a 90-minute break between the magic shows in which Anderson was appearing.
Who would have thought this union wouldn’t last? Ummm, pretty much everybody.
