Munich Says Paris Hilton Too Cheap

And exactly how cheap do you have to be to get banned from a beer-fest? Well, dlisted magazine reports that PARIS HILTON apparantly cheapened the Germany’s 2006 Oktoberfest in Munich that she’s been invited not to return this year. And the thesun.co.uk says that “Locals were outraged when the socialite, 26, arrived at the beer festival in plaits and traditional Bavarian dress to advertise a brand of canned wine.”

E-Online notes: “For Bavarian beer snobs, canned beer is blasphemy, canned wine an abomination. The result: canned Paris.”

AUNTIE MAUDE says: Ouch! I suppose for someone hawking a product, subtlety might have been too much to hope for, but when a drunkfest calls you cheap… maybe it’s time to rethink.
